Read a topic lately about airation, and air pumps Vs. filter. I thank airation is the proper word lol
I currently have a Fluval filter, and the jet of water out of it is my only means of airation at the min.
I'm changing though to an external filter, and as far as I know, the pipes don't generally agitate the water at top.
The topic I read said that air pumps don't sufficiently agitate the water enough to allow good airation, so what other options are there??? I do have an air pump, but don't use it cos it vibrates and makes a real annoying humming noise lol
