Hi All

I have a 220 Litre tank, well planted, with a black sand substrate. I am planning to change my filter ftom the Rena XP2 to the Eheim 2126 Thermo.
The Rena has sponges and ceramic rings and I'm wondering whether I can transfer these to the Eheim, alongside the new media, thus avoiding the cycling problem. I'm not sure I really have the room to run both filters side by side.

Any advice welcome!

It would be fine to add existing media to your new filter. Great choice by the way....I have the eheim 2128 Thermo. :)

Thanks very much for that- Eheim seem to get the thumbs up from just about everyone, and the integrated heater is a bonus. Glad you're happy with yours! :good:
