Changing The Temp

Sorry if this is very, very stupid q.

I have a heater, but ive heard of people increasing their temp. I assumed the heater has a thermostat whcih keeps water at a temp suitable for tropical fish. How do you change it?

Ajustable heaters have a dial or knob on the top. Some cheaper ones are non-adjustable, you are stuck at the temp they are set for.

If the heater has a thermostat, there should be an adjustable nob to change it.
Check your instruction manual. If it doesnt, i suggest you buy a heater witha thermostat, its a must imo.
