Great tanks, i like the bogwood in the first tank, but i would get that cichlid (baby frontosa?) out before it gets aggrsive to the quins etc. Thanks,LukeGreat tanks, i like the bogwood in the first tank, but i would get that cichlid (baby frontosa?) out before it gets aggrsive to the quins etc. Thanks,Luke

in your first tank, i see two red tailed black sharks o_O

any territory issues?
i would take them out imo

Love the first tank in particular, but you should really rehome one of the red tailed sharks so you only have one of them left in the tank, as these fish will become increasingly territorial and agressive towards one another and will fight to the death when they mature, they are very intolerant of their own kind as adults  .

Looks more like this fish to me. Which requires a unique setup really.

That doens't look like a frontosa... Frontosa's have 6 cross bands... that fish looks like it has 5. I think it's a Neolamprologus tretocephalus...

fella got it on the dot. the five bar cichlid.

neways its not just 2 rtbs those are the smallers ones i have bigger ones that are pretty much adults in there too. at first i only had one cuz i know about their aggression, but i asked my fish expert friend what i could do, and she said i could add more as long as i keep it over 4 sharks with lots of spaces.

u cant see it in the pics but there are so many caves in the wood, its actually 4 peices arranged together to look like one, and there are many many caves and places to hide.

even the fully grown sharks dont fight with eachother. i dont know why. but u know its not like its unheard of right? there are always exeptions to the rules.

actualy in the 2nd pic, the shark to the right? there are 2 sharks right next to eachother, they werent fighting, just chillin. i really dont know why they dont fight, the biggest one witch is pretty much full grown hangs out with the 2 clown loaches, one of the smaller ones likes to swim at the top and middle with the danios, another one likes to bottom feed all the time with the corys and the last one actualy goes around playing with the other sharks.

for some reason everyone likes my 10 gallon tank lol.

yea the five bar cichlid needs pretty hard alkaline water, so cant put wood in there even tho i really like how wood looks :( but it will soften the water and make it acidic

Great looking tanks :) I agree with Tokis-Phoenix you should only keep one red tailed shark otherwise they will pack hunt the others as well as try and take each other out it may not be happening now but this will happen eventually. When they get bigger it is a good idea to trade them in to the LFS for a smaller one (I know it sux because you get attached to them) because when they are bigger they will kill their tank mates.

the kind u hang from the edge of the tank.

its a pretty good filter, gota little extra power for a 10 gal just incase i dirty up the tank somehow for some reason.
