Has anyone had any experience with these critters?

One of my local shops is hoping to buy some in for me but I dont want to spend loads of money if they wont do well.

I have in the tank that they would be going into a mature 120 litre tank with:
Live plants
Apple snails
Blue Ram
Neon tetras
Cories

Amano shrimps
Cherry shrimps
Ghost shrimps
and possibly 1 Atyopsis moluccensis.
What do you think?

Will they exsist without eating my plants and killing off anything in the tank?

well it would depend on just what shrimp you have. Macrobrachium faustinum and Macrobrachium sp are both sold as Chameleon shrimp. and there are more, though it is often confused with the Rainbow shrimp, an algae eater.

the
Macrobrachium's are both longarm shrimp, and will munch your stock

Bum! That is what I do not want to happen...will have to say no to them being bought for me.

The shop says that they cannot order in any other types cause they dont like being moved when very young and also that their suppliers dont supply much variety... :/
