HI,

I am almost fully stocked now. I have a well planted community tank with guppys, plattys, neons and corys in. its a 90l tank and I would just like to finish with a centrepiece fish or pair..

Suggestions? I fear an angel may not get along with my guppys etc. dwarf Gourami?, Blue ram?

What would go best in terms of temperament and size of tank?

Thanks
Phill

a male & female dwarf gourami are attractive & pretty placid, they would be my choice.

I was thinking along those lines... thanks. May go for honey or dwarf pair

Pair of dwarf gourami OR pair of Bolivian rams OR trio Cockatoos (if the water conditions allow)

Hi! :) So you brought the cories and tetras then. Good choice!

I would also say a Gourami as a centre peice fish, i have a Dwarf Gourami in my community tank, they have good character and are nicely coloured, they are more than likely going to get on well with your current stocking too. :good:

yeah, i have a dwarf Gourami now, i did have a Betta, but i have had to move him to my old Biorb, where he seems a lot happier.

I would suggest a dwarf crested cockatoo chichlid they are very peacefu,a little terratorial toward breeding season but altogether a beautiful fish.

i'd go with just a male gourami. if you get a pair the female might end up living a life of fear and hiding.

What is your reasoning for it? Gouramis are moderately aggressive, but that is usually kept between males only. I have kept a number of pairs over the years in different set-ups and have never had any problems so long as only one male was present.
