Centre Piece Fish Required For A Peaceful Community Tank

a quick summary of new bright tank - pink themed fish

garish tank for 5 yr old (and me ;-) Tank now cycled, and tested the loading by buying some fish from LFS but Cardinals @ £7.99 a pair, got 4 of them, 6 glo-light tetra's and 1 pink loach thingy so that is enough to spend there.

The ammonia, nitrite and pH didn't flinch for the following 5 days and so have confidence in the bacteria ability.

I am now looking at tri-mar to complete the pink theme, but want to keep the peaceful co-existance of the community tank.

current:
4 Cardinal Tetra's
6 glo-light tetra's
6 zebra danios


pink things to add?
Centre Piece: apistrogramma agassizi double red - nice, but how many? 4/6??? or boesmani rainbow (or both??) colour AND peacefull is the order of the day

another 8 cardinals to boost the shoal (although the glo-light are already running with their brighter bretheren ;-)

8 cherry shrimps - clean up crew with the loach thingy

so i've estimated that i will have about 24" of tetra's & danios, leaving the rams/boesmani and shrimps the remaining 30 gallons before i'm overstocked.

that sound about right? would they get on?

would appreciate advice/confirmation that it sounds ok

oh cummon, you have to show us
personaly i love the boesmani rainbow after reading about them in PFK last month, but if the tank is bright pink then it wont do their colours justice , but having said that i have just half an hour ago got home with an aquastart320 in bright pink!! lol so your in good company, but i will be putting black gravel in there

I would suggest the apisto's x 4 rather than the bosemani, the rainbows need a larger tank and like to be in groups of 6+ and I dont think you have enough room for them.

And yes, piccies please of this pink tank!!

i haven't got a recent picture (too busy testing the levels every night ;-)

will take a pic tonight when i get back that shows the planting etc
