I have a 180L tank and will be putting the following in- once it has finished cycling
10 Neon Tetras
5 glow light tetras
5 silver tip Tetras
5 Red eye Tetras
5 Lemon Tetras
6 Bronze Cories

What fish can i add as a "center" piece that won't see the rest as breakfast, lunch and dinner.

hmmmmmmmmm a Siamese algae eater would work perfectly not massively colourful but they are active and also double as the best algae eater around by the way i would recommend having 2 or 3 of those shoals as a group of 10 to 12 e.g 12 neon tetras 12 silver tip tetras and 12 bronze corydoras
its not necessary but it will look better i find
other centrepieces
dwarf gourami - small colourful a bit aggressive so no long fins but real characters
red tailed shark - larger black body with vibrant red fins will get more aggressive as it gets older sow wouldn't recommend so much
spotted headstander - not a fish you will see in your local fish store so will have to request to have it ordered in a medium sized peaceful fish with a 'leopard' pattern skin they always point their heads downward which makes them a quirky fish
bolivian rams- a interesting dwarf cichlid allot of character easy to breed if you get a pair but they have a habit of becoming quite aggressive nice colours specifically on he males a Bolivian ram would be the best dwarf cichlid as the others tend to be bigger more fragile and more aggressive
peacock/emperor gudgeons - both medium sized very colourful fish not overly active don't know masses about this fish other than its not really that aggresive

I agree with Noobgamers on some points, I would 100% look at doing less species with more of each. I would choose the Neons and the Lemon Tetras along with the Cories :) - have you considered a slightly smaller species of cory like Pandas? Just being a bit smaller will help with numbers also, I prefer the black and white species as well but thats just personal preference.

From the list above (and I hate to critique when people are helping but just wanted to give some of my thoughts) The Siamese Algae Eater whilst it would be a larger fish wouldnt really be a centre piece as its got very little interaction with the owner and for me the colours just dont pop as a centre piece... I would also second the caution and avoid the Red Tailed Shark as in this size tank at adult size it will cause a lot of problems. Spotted Headstanders, again not really a centre piece, they are a shoaling fish and need to be kept in a small group of at least a trio.

The suggestion of the Ram is a good one but to say the other dwarfs are too aggressive or large is a bit generalising. There are quite a few others available that would work in this size tank. Things like Laetacara, Nannacara, Discrossus and quite a few species of Apistogramma would work.

For me I would since you have chosen all South American shoaling fish I would do a tank like this and keep it South American :)

4 Laetacara Dorsiger
3 Spotted Headstanders
12 Neon Tetras
10 Lemon Tetras
12 Panda Cories

Wills :)

For the centrepiece how about a breeding pair of gourami i have had a blue and a gold for a while now and they are fun to watch.
Or if its just neons and bottom feeders how about a stunning male betta you could only get 1 though and you would also have to take into consideration the fish might like different temps or maybe even a couple of really nice patterned plecs they come in all patterns
and sizes but some species do get huge !
