Celestial Danio, Galaxy Rasbora

I've not seen neons in person, but the celestials are about 3/4 of an inch long and very small bodied. They are smaller than male endlers.

never seen a neon?! wow haha.... endlers are small though...so....that's hard to determine without seeing them side by side.  I've seen the danios in the store, but only a couple times and not next to anything really to compare.

I'm pretty sure a full grown pearl gourami could eat a CPD.

I have dwarf emeralds (which are so closely related to CPD they can hybridise) and they are really tiny, definitely smaller than a neon.

My local store tends to carry more selective fish versus the common stuff sold at chain stores. On the rare occasion that I go to the chain store, I buy food and get out. I really hate to see sick and dead fish and that was very common last summer when I was beginning, so I avoid their tanks.

I'll see if I can grab a pic of an endler next to a celestial. My endlers tend to photobomb so it shouldn't be too terribly hard.

Here's a good scale:

The fry is one week old and about 1 cm in length.
