Caught Some New Things Today...

I caught a tadpole that is about 5" long... his name is "Frogger"

and a new Pumpkinseed Perch... his name is "Scar"

and some more Texas Shiners... there names are "Curly and Moe" I will catch another and name him Larry...

Bullfrog tadpoles grow large, 4-6.75 inches (10.2-17.1cm) before they transform into frogs...

There were about 5 others I could have caught, but I only wanted one... So I grabbed the biggest...

At first, I thought he was a snake...

your lucky the only thing i can catch round here in the local brook are bullheads.
i dont think i would want him in my tank tho look at it.

I think it is illegal to take fish from local waters in Texas if they are not regulation size?

well, none of these are game fish... and i doubt that the game warden is gonna come knocking on my door for having a couple of fish and a tadpole

Haha, so true. I haven't got anything against catching wild fish, I was just talking technicalities

Haha, yes I do, but only for one more year; then I'm transfering to UT Austin

I don't even know who SFA's rival is, if that tells you anything about how attached I am to this school
