Cats (purr) and fish

Interesting how many posts talk about their cats and their fish. 8) Sorry, slow day. Brains in low gear.

I have 8 cats and 7 fish by the way.

EIGHT cats?! Wow!! I'm impressed, lol. I have um.... one cat. lol, and of course all my fishies. My kitty is 15 years old, but you'd never know it. She still takes it upon herself to make sure my tank is sufficiently supervised.

Oh, and then of course I have two other cats..... panda corys.

All but one are "barn" cats. And she thinks she rules.

I have 2 inside cats, 1 inside/outside cat, (who is also 15!) 3 Strays we've sort of taken in, and my mom is getting married and her boyfriend has 4 inside/outside cats. Yeehaw!

No offence guys/ladies but I prefer dogs. All the aqaurists I know love cats over dogs. I guess I'm just unique.

I've got 2 indoor cats, 2 dogs (1 is 75lbs, 1 is 7 lbs) and now all these fish. My hubby says he's going crazy but like I always said, he knew what he was getting into. Also have a 2 yr old little girl.
My house is not nearly big enough for everyone but lots of life in a home makes me happy even if were cramped.

lol, I'm a "doggie person" too (even tho I have a cat also). I think all the fish people like cats because cats get so darned interested in the fish. Guess that gives the owners a sense of "kinship" with their felines.

Hmmm I guess Im just an animal person...my GF is allergic to cats so that rules them out...I want another Bull Terrier...but Im not home enough (so dont laugh) but i want a chiuaua...I love them they think there like 150 lb. dogs but there like 5... but we have a Bird (cinnamon pied Cockatiel) and the GF is getting a tortoise...plus my 20 and 55 gal. and the 10 gal "swamp"....

Cool, you have a bull terrier? I dont know alot of poeple who owns one. Anyways, my bull terrier is 11 years old with a 7 month old pit bull(yes, they live together), 3 kittens and 1 adult female cat

Revenge- Im so jealous...no i dont own one now...I had a bull-shepard mix...he was great super smart...(I had to give him to my friend when I joined the Navy)....but they need a lot of attention that I cant give and would rather be without a dog than to mistreat one...

Hey, I didn't think my slow day would get so much attention! Gues we all like to talk about are extended families.

In case you wonder about my avatar, he reminds me of my former golden retriever mix. Haven't had the heart to get another dog.
