Hi people.

I have quite a few catfish for sell or possible trade.

Catfish;

Synodontis Decorus - 6" to 8" approx
Synodontis Eupterus - 6" approx
Synodontis Angelicus - 4" approx
Synodontis Jaguar - 3" approx
Striped Raphael catfish - 5" approx
Spotted talking catfish - 3"-4" approx

(may have couple more but cant think at the moment.)

I haven't listed prices as some people may offer fish instead but feel free to make offers

I can try and get photos if people want but it is difficult.

Fish located in Portsmouth.

Aaron

Hi, are you able to get a photo of the Synodontis decora, so that we can be sure this is a true decora and not a hybrid such as the Syndontis sp. hybrid 5 "valentine"? http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/_species.php?species_id=2112

I will try and get a photo of the catfish in next couple days for who but i may have one on my laptop of it from when it was smaller?

I'd take the raphel if you will post

I have never posted fish before so not sure how to go about it but will look into it for you. Did you have a price in mind for the fish?

Just looking about now as i dont have a clue what they're worth.
Would you like to put an asking price?

I know what you mean, this fish are hard to price as each LFS sells them at different values.

What i think i will do for you is get a photo of him next to something of common size so you can see how big he is. i personally havent seen one this big for sell near me.

You have a few of these do you?

Online it seams whatever number they type they cost, i can however appreciate the size and a pic would be good. My 11 common plec sounds quite big but when you see how thick he is its unreal lol.
He would be my first but a very welcome addition. There such lookers even if you never get to see him lol.

Yeah ok I will try get a photo for you tonight/tomo evening. He is a tank! I do seem him quite bit when he comes to try eat all the food but it you have a planted tank will see him more so as he can venture nearer front and still have darker areas. As for price I will have a think

The photo from when it was smaller would be a good start, but the differences between the true decora and the "Valantine" hybrid get more obvious with size (the spindly black extension to the dorsal fin, proper horizontal stripes on the caudal and dorsal fin, all barbels branched etc.). Besides already having a ~8" specimen, I have had a group of six youngsters since late summer that are upto 3" and they are still too small to show decisive decora markings.
