Hi every1! Im currently cycling a 55gallon tank and im planning to stock it with the following fish: 1 Lima shovelnose, 3 Pictus Cats, 1 Brislenose and 1 unidentified whiptail.
Just wondering how this sounds to every1, Iv done all my research on the fish and just wanted 2 make shure that this setup sounds ok! my main concern is the bristlenose. he is currently in my 30 gallon tank and isnt particularly large yet (about 3.5 inches) do you think that i would have a problem with the shovelnose going for him? any reconmendation of different or additonal tank mates would also be great! thanks!

I'd leave the Sorubim Lima out as these fish will reach 12"+ and should ideally be kept in groups, although some keep them in tanks of 55gallons IMO 75 gallons is the minimum. :)

I agree with Ryan - you can't really keep a SN in tht size tank.

The rest of your stocking setup sounds good though! :kana:

thanks for your replies! what fish do you think would go well with this set up excluding the shovelnose?
