Catfish Id

i was sold it as a up side down catfish but i found out theres a few difrent types what type is this and how big dose it grow
(ive got some pictures bit i dont know how you post them, how do you post them?)

At a guess i'd say Synodontis contracta, which grows to 2.5inches

o thanx i was expecting it to be like one that grows masive but thats a better size

Looks line S. nigriventris, aka common upside-down catfish. They're social fish, much happier in groups, the more the merrier. Won't grow more than 4".

how long will it take him till he is fully grow coz hes only grown about 1cm since i got him
and will he be ok with bn plecs

Definitely S. nigriventris, much happier/more active in groups. They are fairly fast-growing, shouldn't take more than a year to reach full size if they're small juvies when you get them. Fine with BN pleco's, and just about any other fish for that matter. They aren't aggressive at all.
