the cat always does this, the oscar loves to wind her up i think.

that cat isn't even ours, well, i suppose it is now, it decided to come through the cat flap one day and never left. it bullies our cats, they're alot bigger too.

its a juwel trigon 350 onidrase, it isn't big enough, its one of those corner tanks so it doesn't have much length to it.

Ahh dang, I'd love to have a half round tank large enough to hold an oscar.

I'd also love to have that cat, if only they'd come walking through our door!

You can gladly have this cat. It fights with the other cats and even the dogs.

That's a shame.. I actually started the fish keeping because I had to give my cats away after an apartment flood due to the upstairs washing machine breaking. Water leaking through light fixtures and everything. Had to bounce from place to place for a month while we looked for another home.

I would love to get another cat, but all my room mates are allergic.

I hope things'll work out with that one, though, I have to say it's rather odd for it to waltz on in and claim the place  how long has it been there?

Its been here for about three months now. Its still only a kitten.

Thank you Dieses Madchen

LMAO!!! Hahahaha!!!! Love the fact it never left

Your Oscar is a stunner! You really should get some more pics up of your tanks!

Thanks Minnnt, he is a lovely fella. Only wrecked the tank a few times so far. Stopped hand feeding him as the last few times I tried he deicided to take a chunk out of me. Never nice.

Will get more pictures up in the morning hopefully.

Oh, and as for the cat, its cheeky. Beats up both dogs, one of which is a springer and the other a rotweiller. Steals food if you don't keep your eye on it constantly when cooking.

a chunk? they have teeth??

Nice picture. My cat tries to touch my fish with her paws and licks the glass of the tank when my Cichlids are near the glass. She's a very friendly cat and easily gets scared LoL

@ Dieses Madchen

Yeah I think Oscars and other Cichlids have small teeth. I feel it sometimes when I handfeed them. I had a very very small wound in my arm, size of a dot. My BP and Black Diamond attacked it while I was rearranging my tank. It doesnt really hurt, its more of a shock. I let them do it again  But then again theyre still pretty small 5.5 - 6 inch. My 4 inch Oscar has never bitten me yet even tho I get careless on handfeeding.

My friends cousin has an oscar over 10 yrs old, size of a football. he said he let his Oscar bite his knuckles sometimes
