used to be a cat person, now I have 3 dogs, an odd bunch too, 1 Female pitbull, 1 male Siberian Husky, and 1 male Chihuahua!

Everyone mistakes them for yorkies, until they get closer. They're aussie terriers, much heavier boned with a good terrier double coat, 15-18 pounds, a bit more for males. They keep vermin off the property, the two on the right cornered a 'possum about 6 weeks ago, the guy on the left is my son's pup, 6 months old, was inches from a rabbit earlier in the week. The middle two ran off the neighbor's cat a couple of years back, the cat sticks to easier pickings, like the lab down the street.

That's a full size coal shovel behind the one guy. I had to dig snow away from the fence so they wouldn't jump over. Thankfully they listen well, as long as I was out there. The fence was almost a walk over.

If it weren't for a zillion fish & tanks, club & online fish related activities, I'd be doing a lot more with dogs.

I had a siberian husky a few years ago. He was a great dog. I had to give him up though, cause we didn't have the time for what he needed. He is the king of his castle and I get updates on him all the time.

I had a siberian husky a few days ago. He was a great dog. I had to give him up though, cause we didn't have the time for what he needed. He is the king of his castle and I get updates on him all the time.

Oh yea, he def needs a LOT of time and energy, my 5yr old definitely gives him a run for his money, he chases him when he is on his 4-wheeler! It's the cutest thing EVER! And we got him a dog bed but he prefers the cold tiles on the floor...and when the A/C is on, he lays over the vent and hogs the cool air...he definitely has a personality! I'll see if i can post a picture of him later!

Dogs have to be number 1. Cats are ok, we have two or three cats I think. I say I think because one sometimes goes away for weeks and turns up when he feels like it. The odd time a different cat will come through the cat flap and stay a day or two but usually goes soon after.
We have a rotweiller who is completely dumb, fantastic with the children and will follow our youngest child anywhere. The dog walks into things and sleeps with its tongue out. Eye sight is good so I just put it down to being dumb. We also have a springer, which is a fantastic dog, really well behaved and does what its told unless she has seen a bird then she's off. She swam half way across lough neagh one day after a bird, boats were trying to go after her and I really thought we'd lost her but she come back after an hour or so.
We had other dogs, a yorkshire terrier who my mother now owns, we took it in as it was being mistreated, a staffy and looked after a husky for about a month, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Don't know haha, just not a big fan. They always fight outside my house and make some of the most horrible noises that keep me awake!

Im a dog person, got nothing against cats but prefer dogs, got two staffordshire bull terriers. heres the youngest one we got last year, heres her battersea dogs home picture, she is so loveable, she was dumped on the streets of london, why someone would do that is beyond me, she is so gentle and loving.

We also have a 5 year old male but he is smaller than her. both loving dogs and right softies.
