Enjoy,

Joel :good:

They look after themselves. They do there job too well. At this time of the year that start turning brown due to the flys rotting Lol. Sounds nasty but it isnt :)

Hi i have Pingueculas in with my Cacti , i find they catch all the little fly's :good: that lay eggs in the compost. I think i have spelt the name correctly.

Yeah, Pinguicula are great little plants.

Lots of orchid growers use them to catch little bugs Lol. If you after something to catch slighting bigger bugs try either of these, Drosera Capensis, Drosera Binta. They grow bigger and have alot more traps and in my opinion look very nice.

Very easy to get hold of, might even be able to send some seeds, aslong as you cover postage costs, if they havent all dropped already.

I own a few around the joint (another passion aside from fishkeeping), not anywhere near 300 but a small, varied collection nonetheless

I have a couple of pings, a couple of species of Sarracenia, a few varieties of VFTs, Albany pitchers, some Drosera species and a nepenthes. I would love to expand one day but I don't have a decent hothouse atm so have to rely on the crappy portable one I used at the flat we lived in around 10 months ago. On the upside though, the pitchers are starting to flower again atm so I will be keeping an eye on that :good:

Get some pictures up Lol :D

Here are some of my neps in there terra 8)

I think im right in saying spring is on the way for you. So all your plants will start coming back to life Lol.

Oops, forgot to mention the cobra lillies as well, I have a few of them too

Nice Neps btw. The one I have atm is only a tiny fella I got off ebay. I had two a couple of years back but couldn't find a decent place they liked at the place we lived at and they eventually died (either too hot or too cold, it was a bugger for plants).

Getting close to summer here atm, had the hottest day for october ever recorded yesterday and there are already a few bushfires raging over here in four states! Not a good leadup for christmas thus far and it'll only get worse as summer kicks in. On the upside though, where we are atm should make the heat a bit easier on my plants.

Looks so cool. Do you keep any critters in there?

 Never even thought of that!!!! Would be kinda cool having a tank with exotic plants and little frogs or something in it.

Snapped this one yesterday. I didn't even know my cobra lilly was flowering due to having to stay inside most of the time thanks to the recent stint in hospital. I've never had them flower before so it was a pleasent suprise.
