Cardinals Or Neons?

Good news update is that 12 neons are now feeding well, happily shoaling and patroling the tank without fear of other tank mates. Bad news is that it seems to be a constant group of 12, so I'm thinking I may have suffered two casualties. No sign of them anywhere in the open though

Will have a good look when I do a pwc tonight.....

OK, had a good look in and around bogwood, plants, rocks, filter, and couldn't find any sign of the two missing small neons. Could my rather large amanos have done a quick clear up of the two if they had got too stressed with the new environment, hidden away and died? Looks like I have to admit to loosing two of the original fourteen

Although without any sign of them, I'm beginning to wonder if I miscounted to start with, after all, 12 was the number I asked for! (probably just trying to make myself feel better now....)

The remaining 12 are all doing well, although on close inspection I noticed that one had an eye missing. No sign of stress or disease, happily feeding and joining in with the rest of the shoal, so I suspect it was like this when purchased.

Fingers crossed for the remaining group....

I added a shoal of cardinals to my tank after it was up for less than two months. That was about 5 months ago and they have all been fine. My tank was also fishless cycled, planted, and stats are perfect. My ph is 6.4, which they seem to do well in, and the angels and apistos leave them alone. Not one casualty.
