i bought 6 cardinal tetras but after the first night i woke up and the biggest one had gone to the big tank in the sky  then later i was away and got a call my mom had found the smallest one with no skin well thats what my sister it was the smallest (his name was reji) he had gone there too. i was thinking maybe they died from stress because one was an elder and one a baby plz hnelp

How long has your tank been cycled before adding fish?
Have you tested your water? If not, you need to do this immediately, if so, what are your readings for ammonia, nitrate and nitrite?

In the immediate time, do as big of a water change as you can without removing the fish, leave just enough water that they can swim. Dechlorinate and temperature match the new water.

I've had my tank running for 3 years all the others are fine I think the big one was sick in the first place.the ones that died had not been together with the rest if the group I will test last time every thing was perfect

What are your ammonia, nitrite, PH and nitrate levels of your water?

Were the 2 fish acting abnormally or look ill prior to death? Do the remaining Cardinal Tetras look happy and healthy or not?

It could be a ph shock if they weren't properly acclimated. How did you acclimate them? Did you just float the bag and dump them in? Or did you slowly add tank water to the bag? Test results would also be very helpful.

The 2 fish were looking sickly after I saw them fully. The rest are looking perfect and yes I left them floating in the bag and filled it with a lot of aquarium water
