Cardinal, under tummy keeps changing shape

I've not noticed this in any of the others. They're otherwise very healthy and relaxed fish.

I just wondered if it meant she was carrying eggs.

How exactly his her tummy changing shape- is it sunken looking or very fat or warped in any way?

Yes it warps outwards, a bit like a camel hump then returns quickly to normal. I have seen before one of the male cardinals shimmy behind her low on the barclaya longfolia.

One of my endlers has taken quite a shine to her and displays his tail furiously at her, she just ignores him or chases him away.

Cardinals are egglayers although the chances of breeding them are very remote, as long as she doesn't have faded colors and her tummy is even and not bumpy or anything its fine- if she has faded colors or looks anorexic then thats another matter.
