Capy, My Skinny Piggy

This brings back memories, back in high school we had 8+ Guinea Pigs in our apartment :D never a hairless one though. Definately unique!

Oh what I wouldnt give for a skinny pig. Only ones you get in Aus are the genetic mutilations which usually die at birth. Ah well I've still got all my furrys

She's gorgeous!

Ahhhh, adorable! I love guinea pigs  ! I have three of my own. I have one Abyssinian, one abyssinian/teddy, and one white crested! Dont you just love how they talk when you get the greens out for feeding time in the morning! Mine squeal and start talking when they here the bag full of parsly being pulled out of the frige. Expecially my piggy ginger, she is the most pig of them all! She eats anything! :D

P.S. That is just so cute!!!!!!!!! :)

I have 16 guinea pigs, and they definately let you know when they are hungry.
On a morning they have dry food and on a night around 7pm they have their fresh food, I think they prefer the fresh food to dry but it all gets eatten.

it certainly looks like Capy is enjoying her bath, my 5 guineas absolutely HATE having a bath - Phoenix in particular who usually manages to leap out of the bowl onto my shoulder getting me soaked in the process!!
and the hairdryer is their idea of hell!!!

She is very cute.I love hairless animals.I want to someday own a Sphinx cat. :D

Awww I love the bath pics, I've got 19 kids, of all different sorts of breeds, all but three are pedigrees, but cos I couldnt resist a cute face only five are actually showable ah well LOL

Very cute!
We have a guinea pig, best rodent-type pet there is IMO. I'm really not to keen on the skinny-pigs to be honest. They are definitely not a "first-timer's" piggy. As you stated, they do require a lot of extra care compared to the regular breeds. Sounds like yours will certainly be very well looked after though! :D
