Can't Get Rid Of My Aiptasia

Agree with Mr M don't cut them or shred them as you'll be left with 5 more for the one you got rid of :S
Just stick at it with joe's juice that has been the most successful method for me although there always seems to be one every couple of weeks

Yeah, i've been going at it with the Joe's Juice this morning (well, tropic marin's alternative product -- same effects)! It's only when I get down to tank level and start with the needle do I actually notice how many their are

Water change time now..

well the bloke who sold us our tank told us to remove aiptasia by getting the LR and giving it a good scrub under a tap

sneaking suspicion that that's a ridiculously bad idea though!

i had a massive outbreak and i used joes juice for a few weeks and they just kept multiplying so i got three peppermint shrimp
now ive not seen any aiptasia in my tank in about a month lol

What about just a Kalk paste? Ive been told by fellow reefers in my society that works well or them. Builders lime, mixed into a paste with RO water (or tap), squirted into your Aiptasia. :good: Buiders lime can be found at your local Hardware store.

I hav had the same problems with my reef tank. The joes juice usually kills them for a while....then they eventually come bak. I didnt know what to do, but then my lfs sold me a small copper band butterfly fish. Within 24 hrs my tank was completely clear of them.
