Hi everyone,

Does anyone know good websites to buy Bettas from in Canada? I'm having a hard time finding sites. I wouldn prefer to not buy one from a petshop if I can get around it. I also would really like a crowntail, and those are usually not in te pet stores around my city

timsalphabettas.com - has really nice bettas up but not sure if he has any stock right this moment.

Whereabouts in Canada are you? I'm in southwestern Ontario and might be able to help you out in the future if you ever need some around January or later.

ezrock, do you breed and sell? I am in ontario, but i'm really bad with directions, lol i only go by city, i am just north of brampton, but i work in brampton, are you anywhere close to there?

Hi. I've got a spawn setup right now. Never sold any bettas before though. Have to see how this spawn works out.

I'm not too far from brampton. Probably a few hours.

oooh. Because I am looking to get a betta not from a pet store. I suppose if you have a successful spawn and are willing to sell me one or two, will you let me know?

What kind of bettas are you going to spawn?

Yes I'm in Southwestern Ontario! Um, that's like the Toront-Guelph-London are right? LOL

Yes, I would be looking for one in January or around that time. I'm gathering info and care instructions and whatnot now, going to set up a little tank in december-ish and cycle it, so I'll be ready for a betta around that time. Let me know when you have spawn! I'm really interested in Crowntails and HM's.

As far as colour, I haven't made up my mind...I just want one the look pretty!

I generally think of areas around London to be southwestern ontario. I live in London myself. My bettas that will hopefully spawn sometime soon are superdelta plakats. There are pics of them in another post on the first page. I also might spawn the female to a superdelta longtail red male who is really close to HM, so hoping to get some HMs out of that spawn, though there will probably be just a few of them, if any.

Where in Ontario are you?

Actually, I was thinking of pm'ing you last week because I found a gorgeous to die for copper HM male, but he had no female to match with, and I was wondering if you maybe had a match for him... I was thinking maybe if I got him we could do some borrowing and swapping??

Well I have 2 locations,lol. I'm currently in Guelph, going to school, but in the summertime I'm in Sarnia. Either way, they're the same distance from London! PM me when the little spawn are old enough to sell. They're not quite what I'm looking for, but I may still be interested at the time when they're ready for selling.

how close to London Ontario do yo live? Once I get a spawn out of my female, you're welcome to use her if you want (and if it's feasible based on distances). Then, maybe we could share the babies. Not sure what kind of babies we'd get from a copper HM and the female I have, but they'd be long-finned and could look pretty neat potentially. Do you use msn at all? If so, PM me and I'll tell you my msn.
