Can You Use Salt Water Rocks

hey guys, just wondering if salt water rocks will release any toxins into a freshwater tank. i picked up a couple as a test and boiled them then put them in a bucket of water for 24 hours and ph did not move. just wondered if anyone has ever used them. if not i will go and source some river rocks, dont want to risk poisoning the tank

Not anymore dangerous than using river rocks. Just use your judgement.

Please don't go boiling any more rocks. If there are any trapped air pockets inside they could explode!

I personally wouldnt use the rocks. It's probably okay, but not worth risking my fish for.
