Can You Run A Tank Skimmerless For A While?

Yes and no, what you need to do is know what you want to keep and know the tanks limits.
A full SPS reef with 20 fish needs a skimmer as they come from low nutrient areas, a tank of softies doesn't.

what dos SPS mean (still getting used to salty language)
if it means corals, im not gonna do em yet (as im not changing my lighting yet) but seffie said i could keep some corals like sun corals.

the tank will eventually have a skimmer, just not for a while.

SPS = Small Polyp Stoney Corals.

If you are not doing corals, you can definitely run skimmerless... you just need to be good about regular water changes (every every week is suggested)
