Can You Help Please

hi cliff!!

welcome to the forum.. we were duped into buying totally inappropriate fish for our tank also! it's not very fun when it happens!

i thought that while you are cycling your tanks, you could get an lfs to look after your fish (the lfs near us does that). that way both your tanks can cycle properly, and you can still have all your fish, just spread them over the two tanks, if the lfs really does care about the fish and thier customers, it shouldn't be a problem!

hope you get it all sorted!! when our tank was first set up it wasn't cycled either, and all our fish came through unscathed!

good luck!

:)

Everything seems to be going ok so far, I have continued doing the water changes and used a bacteria to add to the tanks. my large tank's ph, nitrate, nitrite and ammonie levels are about right at the moment. and with the smaller tank they have reduced alot from what they were and are slowly getting close to being at the level they should be at. And i also noticed today that my betta (siamese fighter) is making a bubble nest in the large tank.

Hi cliff :)

I'm glad to hear that things are working out with your tank. Sometimes just knowing what to expect makes a lot of difference. :D
