I'M JUST CURIOUS ABOUT CORY BREEDING

Never tried it but I have 9 sterbai at the minute but no spare tanks other than a 65 litre which has5 cherry barb in and 4 otos

I can;t move them out but if I put two males and one female sterbai ion there would they breed and if so would the eggs have any chance of hatching surviving etc or does this all have to be done with themm on their own?

They would if the conditions were right and some eggs would survive if the tank was heavily planted.. but there would be a very low survival rate and probably an even lower survival till adulthood rate.

Hi simonas :)

Corys do best when spawned in groups, and the fry raised alone. Corys don't usually eat their own eggs (sometimes they do)but will eat their young. Both the eggs and young are often eaten by other species.
