Can We Use Normal Clay To Make Caves

can we use normal clay to make caves and hiding places for my bns and pleco tank
if so how

play clay or not or do anyone know of a cheap way but looks good pm me or leave reply on here

I would imagine that clay, being water soluble, was a no-no ... unless its been fired - as in plantpots etc, they are very popular.
Have heard of "Fimo" being used in marine - so should be ok in freshwater (but this isnt clay !)

Theres the option of milliput too! Unless you can fire the clay in a kiln of cource? Another option is a load of suitable rocks and silicone to glue them into a nice cave!
