can tropical fish eat goldfish food

hi can anyone please advise me as it has been xmas i havent managed to get any fish food aaaarrrrgggghhhhh dummy , but our local shop only has goldfish food will it harm my tropical fish

It wont harm them, it is made up to reflect goldfishes needs, ie pH, ash content and energy. I would not feed it to them long term as it is not designed to be fed to tropical fish.

omg ive done the same thing , i forgot to get my fish food before christmas and i had to buy goldfish food as all the pet shops are still shut , i was thinking the same thing to about the goldfish food , i guess it will do them till i get some proper tropical fish food
