I have a 45 gallon corner tank with I believe a fluval 204. It been up and running for over a year. Current occupants are 3 guppies and 3 glow light tetras.
My tank perameters are: Tap- ammonia 1, ph 8, gh 214.8 ppm, kh 107.4 ppm, nitrite 5, nitrate 10. Tank- ammonia 0, ph 7.5, gh 143.2, kh 71.6, nitrite 0, nitrate 15.

Here is what I'm thinking for stocking, it will be very well planted.

6 Dwarf Rasboras
4 Coolie Loaches
5 Green Neon Tetras
5 Cherry Barbs
5 Red Phantom Tetras
5 Red Cherry Shrimp
5 Crystal Red Shrimp

With what I'm wanting to stock my tank with will my water be alright for them? Any input will be helpfull.

The rasboras and khulis should be fine in that tank. I never have any success with shrimp so I will stay away from comment on them. I believe the neons and phantoms are soft water fish so they may not be as suitable for your water, although I like the look of the green neons. You do not want to add any of the new stock at once. At the most, I would add the rasboras on the first trip and then wait a week before adding in the khuli loaches. Judging by your water parameters, I would suggest bigger or more frequent water changes.

If your tank is fully cycled, it probably should have 0 nitrites...

No probaly it will! :good:

The tank has 0 nitrites. It's my tap water that has the nitrites. The tank is fully cycled it's been up and running for about a year. I am also thinking of not getting any kuli loaches and just stocking up on shrimp some red cherry, blue, and yellows that I just found. I'm not going with the crystals cause I don't think they'd do well in my tank.

this is my opinion ive kept shrimp with other fish such as bettas goldfish and some other fish if you dont want them to get eaten move them to a diff tank hope i helped and good luck :good: =)

hahahahaha...i like "betta989"
if you want shrimp keep them away from other fish. lol
true to some extent, i have kept shripms before....with fish like live bearers: platy's, swordtails and fish like plecy's, danios, these kinds of fish are ok but things like cichlids keep well away from...they will see your shrimps as snacks! same as puffers.
i suggest you have your tank very well planted with live plants not "fakes"
this gives them places to hide and feed away from any other fish
these "cherry shrimps" are easy as #101## to breed if you kno what your doing!
goldfish i personally dont think should be kept with tropical fish as these are "cold water" fish.
and will also eat the shrimp if given half the chance.
and also excrete alot of waste...boosting your nitrate's!

small fish "should" be fine with your shrimps, but remember no catfish not including the plecy's and no cichlids of any kind.

good luck.
