Hello,
I have a 29g tank that I'm setting up. The tank is being setup for my wife and she LOVES Mollies. So the stocklist has to be setup around them. I'd like to try to utilize the levels of space (ie. top swimmers, mid swimmers and low swimmers). I'm still trying the cycle the tank, I just added some Bio Spira to see if that will seed the bacteria at all. I don't really have much good media (I have a tiny tank with some tetras) so the cycle needs some help/time. I like to keep my bioload low and over filter, so I'm running the Peguin 350, and i have a Fluval 404 on standby. I also have a few bulbing decorations (are those ok?).
So anyways onto my issue, what can I house with mollies? Any help at all would be really great! Thanks!

cory cats for the bottom, maby some guppies or endlers for the top/middle. and maby some honey goumies.

Are Mollies a "schooling" fish? If so how many do I need to get for them to be happy? Also, do the variations of them get along?

Unless you want a lot of fry, stick with all males. :good:

All mollies get along as such but you can get a bit of argo if you have too many males and not enough females. If you're going to mix the sexes have 3 females for every male.

Playts are great with mollies too, they've got a really peaceful nature.
