I'm a newbie as well mate I got my tank yesterday, set it up, I have gravel and rocks so far and also i have put conditioner in the water. I'm going to get about 5 platies this week now so I can start cycling with them, tank heated up nice through the night, only my heater is a bit to keen, it went up to 89F instead of 85F lol
