You're welcome... I'm just sad to hear your girlie is sick. I've never had experience with HITH before but that link I gave you has some good info. And I believe that if clean warm water doesn't do the trick, Maracyn or such would.

HITH is caused by protozoans, I think, so Maracyn probably wouldn't do much good. I'd go for Bettafix/Melafix in this case (but just be sure to use about 1/4th of the recommended dosage if you use Melafix). My oscar had a very mild case of HITH for no apparent reason a while back and a big water change and a dose of Melafix cured it in no time
