Can platys get a gravid spot?

Yes they do although it can be difficult to spot depending on their colouring.

my platty hasnt got a gravid spot, well i cant see it as shes half black!!! but trying seeing if shes really fat and its happened really fast, mine got fat in a week so shes now in her own tank to give birth
