can plants live with out CO2 ? will they grow ok in just a tank with a light

some can but it depends on your species. What wattage is you light as they will need quite a bit to grow again depending on species. you would definatley need co2 if your lightig s above 2wpg

i dont have a light yet im just getting info what i should get before buying and tank not setup the fish will be goldfish

Many plants do fine without CO2 injection. Growth is typically 10x slower.
