I've seen oscars and JDs kept together before...... in very large tanks.
To give you some perspective, I got my oscar when he was less than three inches long. Now, about 9 months later, he is a 9" monster -- and that's not including fins.
Do the fish a favour and either get yourself a sizeable tank within the next 5 months MAX, or return all of them except for either one oscar, or one JD. Note that I said or, not and. The JD would really be the better choice since even a 55 gets a little cramped for an adult oscar.
