So I have a tank we’re I keep my plecos of all sorts toghter for selling and I just wanted to make it more in and have something else in the tank but don’t want the pleads being eaten i was wanting to put swodtails guppies platies or mollies and some assorted shrimp and maybe snails will this work out or will it be a disaster

I agree.

Many people say that plecos will eat small fish, but they won’t. They will however eat dead fish.

Also do shrimp reproduce fast I don’t want to be overpopulated with shrimp
Depends which shrimp you have but they have a small bioload so it is hard to imagine them being a problem. Livebearers will quickly overpopulate a tank though, its best to just have males.

Shrimplets(baby shrimps) will definitely get eaten by fish....
They are favourite food for fish.

I think could be around 20-29 gallons depending on the height.

This is how you calculate:
3ft=90cm, 1ft=30cm

3ft X 1ft X 1ft = 90X30X30 cm(if you filled up the water to the max height)
= 81,000/1000 liters
= 81 liters
= 81/3.78 gallons
= 21.4 gallons.
