I plan on rescaping my 25l betta tank this weekend, and I currently have a large peice of driftwood with attatched java moss. I plan on taking small bunches of it off and attatching it to rocks. Can I rip the java moss, or will that kill it?
Yes, Java moss is very versatile.
You can use it to form anything.
Even the Japanese Takashi Amano chopped it into small pieces and glue them to the rocks/driftwoods.
Just make sure you don't put too much glue, else you will see the a lot of white residue from the glue.
Also, the moss must cover the glue completely.
