Can It Be?

Well Ive only had my tank running for a week and params seem to be PERFECT! I dont know how but these are the params ive tested:

Temp:78F
Amonia:Between .50ppm to .25ppm
Nitrite:0ppm
Nitrate:5.0PPM
PH:8.3
Salinity:32PPT
S.G:1.024

I think the amonia is a bit high but other than that, isnt it perfect?

Most parameters like Salinity, Temperature, pH and SG should (ideally) remain at the same place for long periods, so your parameters are good, but now your work is to keep them there. As for Ammonia, it needs to be at 0 before you get too excited!

Yeah I was going to get one of those chemicals to bring down the Amonia but I thought that it would be better to keep it all in the natrual cycling instead of being in too much of a hurry. But it is possible for a tank to have good params in a week! Its so suprising to me. I was thinking of bringing a water sample from my tank the LFS so they can have a look at it. But eh, dont wanna be a bother. I'll prolly leave it without livestock for a week or so until im 100% sure that im not just seeing things.

I'll keep ya posted. . Will it also help if I perhaps make a video of the coloring and such so I can get your guys' opinion?

Yea let it run naturally, i wouldn't bother with any of those chemicals especially if they have copper in them.

Just wait for ammonia and nitrite to hit 0 and stay there for a couple of change and then do a water change to try and get the nitrates down to at least 5 preferably 0.

My tank took about a week to cycle to. The rock must have been cured when you got it and didn't have much die off on the way home

Oh rly! Thank god im not the odd ball in this . But if I add more LR will it spike anything? I know its a pretty dumb question but just wondringg.

Best not adding anything to your tank that you cannont test for

Possibly, depends on how long it is out the water, but getting your ammonia swings out the way now will obviously saves lives later
