Can I See Your Shrimp Tanks Please

Hardwood twigs and leaves work well. I've used oak and maple leaves in my tank(maple disintegrates quickly) and oak twigs. They need to be completely dead first.

When you say stamping their feet, do you mean like this(watch the front legs)? If so, that's normal grazing behavior. They're scraping the surface with their bristly claws to try and pull up something edible. :good:

Due to a leak this is mt new tank as from today

i had to remove every thing to replace the tank and was amazed to find over 50 baby shrimp, seen 10-15 at a time but not 50.
Still needs to do some growing back ad i trimmed out everything!!!!

wow nice one helterskelter... its nice to have a new tank eh, looking lovely by the way :)
i got 3 cherry shrimp today from MHA flippin £10 for 3 :hyper: , needless to say ill be buying them from here in future

I keep all my livebearers with the parents in the shrimp tank, if well feed they are all fine.

I give my tanks sand as the shrimp love sifting though it.

Guppie's dont worry shrimp what so ever, that why i for loads of them.

YESSS so i can put my babies in my shrip tank(soon to get) soo siked NEXT PROJECT. thats why i love this hobbie

The shrimp won't attack anything however the guppies may get a taste for baby shrimp however if the tank is well planted with lots of mossy and bushy plants then you will still have a high survival rate.

Also OP if you have 2 females and one male then you shouldn't need to buy more shrimp as they will quickly breed and in 3 weeks you will have lots of little shrimplets swimming around.
