Hi ,I`ve got a 28 l which i plan to house dwarf frogs in and the place i wish to keep it is on the worktop between the fridge and cooker ,opinions please?

It should be ok - I used to keep a quarantine tank next to the cooker because it was the only place where there was a spare plug for the filter. Only problem was it did tend to get spattered with grease.

I would suggest you closely monitor the temp of the tank though as the cold from the fridge coupled with rapid heat increases from your cooker could wreak havoc with the temp hence stress your fish out and potentially lead to their demise .... Just a point if note.

Be careful with the glass though becayse is may crack or break with the sudden temp changes. That's why they say u shouldn't pour boiling water on a car windscreen when it frozen

The only real problem will be temperature fluctuations, but even then I can't see it being a problem if it's just sitting on the worktop.

Thanks for all your advice ,have to look for other tank first though ,as i bought new aquaone 28l and its much cheaper quality with only one flimsy lid stay ,usually two in older tanks and lid is unstable ,so i`m taking it back as i expect quality for £60.

errr besides the obvious hygiene issues, I see no problem with this..

this is why I dont eat other people's cooking

As long as the normal hygiene precautions are taken (washing hands after working on tank and before handling food etc) there is no more hygiene risk to having a tank in the kitchen than having one anywhere else in the house.
