what did you say they must be in groups of 6 i have 3 with my guppies will that be ok or should i get 3 more

They are much better in groups of 6, but what size tank do you have and how many guppys?

4 guppies ( adult )
20 about ( fry 4 months )
& 1 common plec but he is moving in to my bigger tank
& the 3 scissor tails


tank is 23 about UK

I would advise against it. Scissors need to be in a group plus goldfish are CW and scissor are TW

Hi,

They would be happier in a bigger group but scissortail rasboras grow 5-6 inches and so the tank is really too small to have a group of such large fish.

angler fish? i think these are saltwater living at the bottom of the sea. Are you thinking angel fish? They will be fine with rainbows and angel fish.
