Can I Out My Onion Snail In An Outdoor Pond?

Its pooping way to much and i'm worried its doing more bad than good to my small tank.
Will he be ok in an unheated pond?

No. They're okay in unheated tanks, but they can't go below around 18°C. Might be okay for the summer, but it won't survive the autumn/winter outside.
