Hi guys im wondering would i be able to keep any corals at all i have a 120 l tank with some hermit crabs and 2 clown fish. the lighting i have is 1 x Arcadia T8 24" 18w Marine Blue Actinic Tube and 1 x ARCADIA MARINE WHITE T8 LIGHT BULB 18w

If i can can you name me the corals that i can keep thanks. I can then do some more reading up on them

I would think you would struggle to keep anything other than some soft corals with that lighting but that's not the only consideration for corals, how much flow do you have?

I'm sorry but I haven't got the time to name all the soft corals so you'll have to search 'soft corals' on Google and go from there.

You might want to upgrade to T5 lighting,or even Halides. Some softies you could keep

Zoanthids
Mushrooms
Palythoa

Hi i know i can only keep soft corals with my lighting im just wondering what would do better

You still haven't mentioned what flow you have or any other details of the tank, without knowing more than what lights you have its hard to work but what would do well.

I would recommend zoanthids as they grow fast and will do find in most light conditions, you can also look at pulsing xenia coral they look pretty cool and are pretty hardy.
if you see some coralline algae forming that would be an indication that you have the right conditions to add coral. (just take your time and buy small frags until you get the hang of things its more economical and more rewarding at the end)

cheers

Thanks vanny i now have gsp some leathera mushrooms and some zoas.
