I want a couple angels (small) can i put a couple in a 20 gallon tank? when they get bigger i know someone with a 65 gallon and i could just give them to him

your tanks seems kinda over stocked.

Fishkiller, that sig of yours is very in appropriate and insulting to some Christians!

Do you mean the 20 gall in your sig, or a brand new 20 gall all their own?

Also, what's in your friend's 65 gall that the angels would be tank mates with?

how is my tank overstocked, theres only 8 fish in there and its a 20 gallon and they arent big, and im movin my 2 female bettas in with my male betta in the 15 gallon (and no they dont fight cuz i had them in there before)

and i mean the 20 gal tank in my sig, i just bought it the other day.
In my friends tank he has 2 small angelfish, 2 small gouramis(Opaline, Blue), 2 Common Plecos (small still), 1 rainbow shark and i think thats it

Yes what else does your friend with the other tank have in it? I kept one angel in a 20 tall for several years, but angels dont stay small forever. Mine just got a new 60 gal condo, but Im still having issues with what to keep with them. And as someone said to me the other day, angels are little devils.
Fishkiller I love the sig. lol

yah i heard they are evil haha, so thats why im asking if i can put them in my 20 gal with my other fish, my friend has 2 small angels and they havent bothered his fish, he has 2 angelfish, 2 small common plecos, 1 rainbow shark, 2 small gouramis..his name on here is xXMrBonesXx he has id sharks but hes giving them away to my friend who has a bigger tank then him, and hes moving his dalmation molly, guppy and another fish to his 32 gallon tank
when they get bigger i was gonna give them to him cuz i cant really afford to buy a bigger tank then a 20 gal, but if i cant have any then its ok i just think they are really funny and cute lol :)

Id say go for it, as long as your friend wont change his mind about taking it when its too big. Ya never know, by the time it is big enough to need a bigger home, you might have more money then you do now. Or you might succumb to mts like I am. In which case you will end up with a bigger tank yourself. They are great fish. I love mine. They are so cute, and they come right up to say hello if I go near the tank. I watch mine talk to her reflection for hours sometimes. Like I said the only problem with them is what to keep with them.

k, so would it be ok to keep them in my 20 gal. tank till they get bigger? would they bother my other fish or would my other fish bother them?

yep sure u can have them

i would recomend having them small so that u can have more time before u can get a new tank

I wouldn't because eiong in such a small tank could well stunt them and so they would never grow to their full size and would have serious health problems. The problem is that you don't know when stunting is occuring but I can tell you my 2 younger angel were tiny when I got them 8 months ago and they are big now and have just bred.
