Personally, I'm not sure if he is carrying doubletail genes or not. He very well may be. The telling factor is his dorsal fin. I can't tell from any of the pics, but perhaps you can compare him to your other veiltails. Does it look larger? As in, more rays? Doubletails actually do have two tails, so there are twice as many rays in them, along with twice as many rays in their dorsal. Check out my doubetail male - he has a crazy large dorsal. So if your guy has a larger than normal, he may very well have the DT geno. :nod:

I think Bombur is just a reg veiltail then :D Thanks for the help. So what about this one?
 
Looks like a Combtail to me too...Or its a Veil-Tail that has ripped fins.. :dunno:
 
I agree - veiltail. :nod: The rays in crowntail tails are different - they're in groupings of two and create two prongs.
