Can I Get Clown Loaches?

Ah, missed that part, sorry. Hope that yoyo's work for you, they are nice loaches. Someone wanting clown loaches just gets my spikes up as in 9/10 cases they are in totally wrong enviroment and tank size.

So assassin snails are outlawed in Mississippi? Some laws are strange. Apple snails are outlawed in the EU now as well. That's just plain stupid.

Which is precisely why I asked if my tank was suitable. I'm rather fond of the loaches myself, but I'd hate to have them if I would eventually have to get a larger tank I can't afford.

We have some seriously strict snail codes here. We can keep most marine snails because they won't survive well if released from the aquarium habitat, but we can't have most freshwater snails as they apparently become a bit of a pest problem. Nerite snails are fine because they don't reproduce in freshwater. My state is dumb.

Clown Loaches will NOT clear a tank of snails, and given enough food, won't even look at them, don't give them enough food, and they'll soon lose condition

clowns will always eat snails... have never seen a clown turn down a snail meal. my clowns will clear any tank of snails in very short order.

Mine won't. I have been keeping them since the mid 80's amd currently have 38 of them, properly fed Clowns ignor snails in general

Whatever the case may be, they aren't suitable for any of my tanks except for the one I'm building, but it won't be ready for construction for at least another year. :)
