the 2 fish i need id'd is the blueish looking one and the blotched one. I got the blue one thinking it was a blue hap , it was mislabled or it lost all its color. My wife brought home the blotched one and i don't have a clue as to what it is. Thanks everyone.
The blotched one is a variant of Psudotropheus Zebra, normally called 'Marmelade' or OB, (Orange Blotch). Not sure about the blue one, going by the shape i would say Aulonacara sp?
The blue fish is a male Otopharynx lithobate but I have not gone through enough pictures to see which locality it is. Max size is around six inches and they are about as aggressive as an electric blue hap.
is it possible that the blotched one can be one of these Labeotropheus trewavasae "Zimbawe". I was just going through some species info here at the forums and saw this , what do you all think.
