hi im just wondering if i can feed my cories and my other fish garden worms after i clean the mud or what ever is on them off because i just done some research on some of my fish and they said they like live foods like worms brine shrimp ect..

so if i can plz replie :D

I've read that you can, though I've never had a go myself. Yep, you'd need to clean the earth off them first. Gruesome job cutting up the worms though!

Good luck. :)

Hi guppy_man :)

Do be careful where you collect the worms if you decide to try it. If they might have come into contact with fertilizer or insecticides, it might be risky feeding them to any fish.

It would be much safer and easier to just buy the live tubifex or blackworms at the lfs. These are tiny worms and more suited to your fishes dietary needs. Your corys will love them.

If you buy any of them, and do not know how to care for them, just ask. :D

i woludnt feed garden worms!they might have chemicals in or anything you dont no where theyve been!LOL

i do feed earthworms and grasshoppers straight out of my yard.

However we live in a nice section of missouri that NO one sprays thier yards with insecticides or fertilizers. The nearest farms with spray on them are four or five miles away. I think I'm safe. Look around the area, be safe. Is pretty much what we are all trying to tell you.

i do it for my corys and my guppys, just make sure u cut the up and gut them, they are very good for the fish as long as its clean, i recommend u boil them
