Currently I have a 60l tank with 5 Harlequin Rasbora, 2 Endlers and 6 African Dwarf Frogs. Now, if I were to put the ADFs into a 30l on their own, would there be room for some Pygmy or Sterbai Corys? I like the Sterbai more, but I don't know if they'll fit. Anyway, how many of either could I have?

Thanks, Jonty.

IMO you could have either, 5-6 sterbai corys fit just nice into a 60ltr 2 foot tank and when i had my breeding group in one they spawned on a vary regular basis, so they must have been happy :good:

You need to bring up that group of endlers to at least 4-5 they prefer to shoal in groups.

Go with the sterbai, lovely little things much hardier than pygmies I believe.

The female's heavily pregnant, once she gives birth I'll either rehome all the females or have a 2/3-1 ratio in their.

I think you'd be fine leaving the ADF's in the 60l with the corys if you wanted to, they wouldn't bother each other and many poeple dont count ADF's towards their stocking levels as they produce minimal waste, You could always count 2 ADF's as 1 if you wanted to include them in your stocking level count.

Hi Jonty :)

I would move the ADF to a tank by themselves. They will eat the fry if they can catch them, and corys will eat their food before they can get to it. Also, if your group has both males and females, there will come a time that they'll start spawning and the tank will become far too messy for the corys.

Thanks Inchworm, I think I would have done that anyway - when I first got the tank I just had the ADFs, and they are so much more active on their own :)
